the best movies of 2010 not to be missed

The other day I was talking with a client and they mentioned how much they enjoyed my blog but they were curious to know if that’s all I did – spend my life thinking and discussing success principles.

I’m actually a huge fan of MOVIES and TV shows. There were days when I used to spend 8 to 10 hours in front of the TV.

But that was then, and this is now. I have more responsibilities, more goals and more things I need to get done. So, these days, on average, I suppose I watch about an hour a day.

As such, I want to make that hour count which means – only good quality stuff.

I used to watch movies all the way through no matter what, no more. If it doesn’t keep my attention in the first 45 minutes – it’s gone. TV shows have even less time to capture my attention.

So what movies made the cut last year? Here are my picks.

  1. Inception (an original concept done very well)
  2. How to Train Your Dragon (funny, fabulous animation in bluray)
  3. Despicable Me (happened to catch this on a flight – bought it soon afterwards)
  4. Toy Story 3 (the darkest of the three, and probably the best)

Others that I’ve heard good things about (and will most likely make my list once I’ve seen them) from my network of movie lovers are

  • Due Date
  • Megamind
  • 127 Hours
  • The Next Three Days
  • Tangled

Today’s movies cost in the tens of millions to make yet we can enjoy them for somewhere between 5 and 30 dollars. (depending on whether you want to watch them in the theater, on DVD or or Blu-ray) They’re one of the best deals around.

So, if you’re looking for a good movie to watch, shove some popcorn in the microwave, grab your favorite refreshment and throw in one of these gems and enjoy your evening.
