It is truly remarkable what kids can teach us.
They give us a perspective on life that may of us seem to have forgotten.
They don’t know the meaning of give-up. They find joy in the smallest of things. They live a carefree life.
Don’t we wish we did the same?
One thing that I envy about my son is his all-or-nothing attitude.
When he goes for it, he gives it 110%.
He watches what we do and then tries his hardest to do it, too. Even if he can’t, it doesn’t mean he’ll give up. He just gives up for the time being.
Tomorrow he’ll be right back at it again.
And guess what? He’ll keep at it till he gets it.
Somewhere along the way, as adults, we’ve forgotten to give it all we’ve got.
Then, after a hard day’s work, we should remember to savor all that we’ve accomplished.
One look at a child when they’re sleeping and you know that they didn’t hold anything back. No regrets.
Just imagine what our lives would be like, if we gave it our all each and every day.
