three gems by the master, Jim Rohn

If you read my previous entry about change you might remember that I have managed to gather a collection of about 1200 quotes that have really inspired me.

I went through quote books, books, and even movies to select some of the best.

I suppose I have many more great quotes contained in my own personal Cliff Notes of each book on business and self-development I have read, but I wanted to select the best of the best for times such as this.

I never envisioned creating my own website, writing a blog, or writing a book when I first started out, but life has a funny way of guiding us.

So here I am, in a country I never thought I’d live in, doing things I never thought I’d do.But thankfully I’m prepared.

I hope that some of the quotes I share with you from time to time will inspire you as they did me.

So today I’d like to introduce you to three of my favorite quotes of my mentor and the man who inspired me to share my ideas with you – Mr. Jim Rohn.

  • Motivation alone is not enough. If you have an idiot and you motivate him, now you have a motivated idiot.
  • Some things you have to do every day. Eating seven apples on Saturday night instead of one a day just isn’t going to get the job done.
  • The most important question to ask on the job is not “What am I getting?” The most important question to ask on the job is “What am I becoming?”

I hope these inspire you as they did me.
