OK, so I’ve shared some of my favorite comedies and action movies and despite my love of action movies I do believe that when it comes down to it, nothing beats a good drama.
A good drama sucks you in. It makes you feel for the characters and what they’re going through.
Too often I find myself crying at certain parts of these movies because the acting, the choice of words and the emotion with which it’s done simply evokes powerful feelings within me.
Some are of pain and sadness, others are for success and joy.
So if you’re looking for something to do this weekend and feel in the mood for a good movie I think you’ll find any one of these a winner.
- Remember the Titans
- The Shawshank Redemption
- Backdraft
- A Few Good Men
- Crimson Tide
- Lock, Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels
- Ransom
- Scent of a Woman
- Pulp Fiction
- Good Will Hunting
- Any Given Sunday
- The Principal
- Apollo 13
- Dead Poet’s Society
- The Pianist
- Babe
- Legends of the Fall
- Finding Forester
- Philadelphia
- Sleepers
- Sliding Doors
- Blood Diamond
- Victory
- Inside Man
- The Cutting Edge
- Casino

In a later post I’ll go into some of the lessons that these and other movies have taught me about success and life but for now, just enjoy them.
Got any others to add to the list? Send them over.
