I’ve known people who are poor and I’ve known people who are rich and a lot in-between but I’ve found that there really is no upside to not having money.
People might say that they don’t need the hassle of dealing with money and that they like to live a simple life.
Well, having money allows you to do whatever the heck you please.
Simple life, sure.
Luxurious life, sure, if that’s your cup of tea.
Money gives us options. The more we have, the more options we can choose from.
Nowhere does it say that we must buy a mansion, have servants waiting on us hand and foot, and have four luxury cars.
In fact, most of the millionaires I’ve met you wouldn’t even know were millionaires.
I met the president of the largest company (by employment) in Asia. At present he has over 20,000 employees.
He’s warm and friendly.
He throws extravagant parties every New Years but besides that he lives a very normal life.
I’ve been on the other end of the spectrum.
I used to spend $2 for dinner and stayed home almost every day watching TV.
I had to stop rock climbing as I had no money.
I couldn’t pay my health insurance.
It was tough.
But I survived. It made me stronger and I have no interest to return to such a lifestyle.
I like being able to do what I want, when I want to.
Now I’m still a ways away from my final goal but I’m on my way.
Things are slowly, but surely, falling into place.
One of my clients shared with me one gem of knowledge a few weeks ago and I’d like to share it with you today – she said, “we need to study things before we need them.”
If we wait until we’re millionaires to learn how to invest and protect your money then it’s very likely that we won’t be millionaires long.
The old adage is true – “A fool and his money are soon parted.”
That’s why I read every day. I divide my studies between investments, business, marketing and success.
All things that I try and share with you here in condensed form.
I want to be ready for the opportunities when they arise to take full advantage of them. I hope you do as well.
It’s no fun having no money.
If you‘re never tried it, I don’t recommend it.
Save yourself the trouble and focus on creating wealth for yourself and your family.
You’ll be glad you did.
