TGIF.
4 letters that demand attention.
Simply hearing the letters activates the daydream gland…people eagerly await their reward for working hard for 5 days – the weekend.
Call me crazy, but I love Mondays.
While I love weekends as much as the next person, Mondays begin with all sorts of news. It’s like the whole world wakes up.
Weekends are reserved for family, but weekdays are all business.
We need both. I love time with my family as it keeps me grounded and reminds me of what’s really important in my life, but business challenges me to think, to solve problems, to take on bigger and better challenges.
Speaking of challenges…
For me, the past few weeks consisted of three big challenges
- Getting my new website (and videos) up and running
- Produce and set up distribution for my podcasts
- Organize my studio for future videos.
Check, check and check.
My new website was unlike anything I’d done before, so I was forced to learn a whole new system. Getting everything right was tricky, but now it’s up and running for everyone to take a look at – www.financialfutureseminar.com (woohoo)
As you might be able to deduce from the URL, the site is all about how the financial world will affect our future.
www.financialfutureseminar.com consists of just 4 simple videos. 4 powerful videos.
That’s it.
While this site is devoted to sharing ideas that make a difference in every facet of our lives, economics rule our lives and as such we should all have at least a basic understanding of what’s going on in the world and how it may affect us.
iSucceed and this site talks about the fundamentals of living well, earning well, and creating a stress-free life.
But from my study of success principles came a better understanding of life and, more importantly, economics.
As you might recall from reading previous posts, these days I spend more time studying finance than I do on self-development.
I realize that economics may not be everyone’s cup of tea (I totally get it cuz I was there), but I do hope that you’ll check it out (even if just to hear what you thought about it).
Don’t forget to bookmark it…and of course, feel free to share it with your friends and family.
The second thing I’ve been working on is my podcasts and getting it linked up to iTunes.
I’m going through all my posts, one by one, and giving them fresh new insight and commentary making them pretty much brand new.
Curious? Check them out at – http://www.ipadio.com/channels/AdrianShepherd/ (and don’t forget to bookmark it) or just open up iTunes, search for iSucceed and BAM, there it is. (yippee)
Third, you’ll just have to wait on that.
I’m just getting used to using Camtasia which allow me to turn PowerPoint presentations into live, study material which I hope to be I’ll be able to offer you at a later date.
Once I’ve got all that done then it’s on to my studio.
No one ever said my journey, in fact, it’s been downright tough.
But so what?! No pain, no gain, right?
Success isn’t just going to land on my lap, and it won’t land in yours. You’ve got to work at it. Day in and day out and sadly, I’ve let other projects distract me from this blog.
But as you can see, I’ve been keeping myself busy.
There are times when I wish I had 8 arms and 60 hours a day to get through everything I want to get done, but I guess I’ll just have to make do with 2 and 24.
I’m back, I’m busy and I’m ready to rock and roll.
Adrian Shepherd.
